The new JPX Fairway Wood is the latest high-tech Mizuno Fairway. Powered by Mizuno UDS (Ultimate Dynamic Stability) has been super large sweet spot and low center of gravity produce optimized trajectory for maximum distance. UDS technology improves stability and maximizes the energy transferred to minimize the impact side to side and up and down vibrations.
The Mizuno F-60 fairway woods produce a ball flight major effort, attainable through the combination of an ultra-lightweight titanium crown and stainless steel body. Previously difficult to bond, the titanium crown is affixed to high-tech precision stainless steel face and body through a patented process of welding new. The welding process that uses 3 material to bond the two metals allows weight to be placed very low in the clubhead. The technology replaces Mizuno previous graphite crown / steel body combination which requires a heavier material link. Mizuno engineers found that by using this lightweight crown titanium, which is only 3% of the total weight of the club head, which could strategically reposition the COG to enable players to throw the ball with greater ease and greater control. In addition, the Mizuno F-60 fairway woods feature Mizuno Cortech face design, which utilizes three multi-thickness areas to ensure uniform face deflection and a thin face response to generate high initial ball velocity for increased distance and consistency.
My introduction to Mizuno fairway woods was to through the F-50 3 wood. I liked it so much I bought the F-60 5 wood off eBay again. Exsar came withe the shaft in stiff flex. After trying this club I do not I can not believe how good it is. It is almost as long as the 3 wood, sits completely square in the direction and looks absolutely stunning.
I found it to be fantastic from the tee and long par 3 so good off the deck. The ball flight and trajectory are perfect for a title of 18 5 of the timber. This is by far the best I've beaten wood 5 and I have many. I believe that not long before Mizuno forests are recognized as partners of equal quality and performance as their irons. Do yourself a favor and get one these will not be disappointed. Thanks again Mizuno.
