Why is it that continually take into account what others think of us? If approved, then all is well. If not, we become lost or die cases trying to get that coveted seal of approval or acceptance. It's like high school again and again.

It goes both ways too. We tend to judge people as others see us. If you are a size 10, no, you are beautiful. The word is very appropriate for the size of 2 and 4 women. On the other hand, men are mocked if you have big stomach. Washboard abs is what makes a man. Yes, it is superficial and only shows how people generally see beauty as skin deep.

We know that it is unrealistic to expect all have bodies good enough for the flight or magazine covers sports and fitness. In fact, only 3% of all people have the privilege of having the "perfect" body. But this does not prevent us go on diets, even going under the knife, or take refuge on steroids to win 'the body', and ultimately, acceptance of society.

Although it is good to control your food intake and weight because excessive intake may lead to obesity which can later result in serious diseases such as cardiovascular disease, you simply can not go on living by writing calories in every bite that goes into his mouth. How bad to fall into the old good burger and fries or binging on pizza once in a while?

Then, What if the world is not favorable, with more people in size and constantly promotes the thin? Does being skinny make a person better than those who carry extra clothes big? In our minds, we know that a person's worth is not based on her waist. We just have to step up and take a stance on this issue.

Change starts with one same. If you look in the mirror, what do you see? There are times when I see flabby arms and thighs. Sometimes, I do not want to see my reflection because all I see is someone that does not have the right to wear skinny jeans or tank tops. Deprived me of my father's delicious cuisine, thinking that not eating will make me somewhat closer to the body of Jessica Alba. It's as if all my trust depends on how I look. It is true that if you have the body and face, it's easy to have confidence. However, if you are the only in the family that has a large stomach and wears pants without form, while the others are wear shorts, it's difficult to smile and feel beautiful.

When I start reading about Hollywood stars who are proud of their curves like Salma Hayek, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Biel, I said to myself, the curves are not a thing bad after all. I see other famous people like Jennifer Hudson and America Ferrera who walk on the red carpet as if they are as sexy as the other actresses. If they can face the world, Why not?

Why can not you? There is more to us than our physical appearance. You may be talented on the violin or piano or some musical instrument. You may have a skill in organizing events or can be as bright as a new currency. Let's show the world that is in the size, more not a thing to be ashamed of.
