Multi-Material Technology – Club composed of the body of a 17.4 SS, 475 super fine steel face and tungsten nickel sole high density. Properly using these materials increases the moment of inertia, making this hybrid more tolerant and also creates higher launch and reduced turnover for a flatter ball flight higher, but penetrating.
Tungsten Nickel Sole – Discretionary weight saved from thin 475 SS face and other high stress areas is put back in the nickel, tungsten sole as weight pads that are strategically placed along the back of the club skirt for the CG downward and backward. This provides a hybrid that throws the ball for soft focus shots, but also has a penetration path the maximum distance.
Crown pending design – helps bring the CG further down and away from the face resulting in a club that is easy to control from any turf conditions.
Robotic plasma welding – welds very accurate and consistent to improve the consistency and durability of the face while saving weight, which can be redistributed throughout the club head.

New TFX 909H shaft – Premium graphite shaft designed by PING specifically for Rapture product line. This axis uses high-end lightweight materials which increase the speed of the clubhead for maximum distance and increase tip stability for a better control and feel.
VS Proto 80 Hybrid Shaft – Premium graphite shaft designed by Aldila promotes a lower trajectory ball flight that TFC 909H, producing a lower launch angle with a slightly lower speed.
New NTS Grip – This new wrap style grip utilizes a soft rubber compound for enhanced feel, similar to grab the 703.
