Position of the ball is one of the key aspects of the iron game. Putting the ball in the wrong position can have serious consequences on the outcome of their shots and therefore this is a very important aspect when addressing the ball you have to do well.
Now, the basic rule for positioning in the ball game Iron is that clubs must be shorter play in the center of your stance and club later in his position. So if you have a shot that requires a pitcher or sand wedge, the ball must be placed in the center of his position and much closer to your body than it would if you hit a three iron.
For iron five, the ball must be placed a ball wide in front of the center and away from your body for a wedge.
