Conjunctivitis, commonly known as pinkeye, is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the clear membrane that covers the white of the eye and the inner surface eyelids. Conjunctivitis can be caused by infections (such as bacteria and viruses), allergies, or substances that irritate the eyes. Conjunctivitis can be caused by many of bacteria and viruses responsible for colds and other infections, – including ear infections, sinus infections and sore throat – and the same types of bacteria that cause sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), chlamydia and gonorrhea. Conjunctivitis can also be caused by allergies. These cases tend to occur more frequently in children who also have other allergic conditions such as hay fever. Some triggers of allergic conjunctivitis include grass, pollen, animal dander and dust mites.

Viral conjunctivitis or conjunctivitis is usually caused by contagious viruses that spread of other diseases different as colds, sore throat, respiratory infections and others. Sometimes a substance in the environment can irritate the eyes and cause pinkeye, for example, chemicals (such as chlorine and soaps) and contaminants air (like smoke and gases). redness, irritation and watery eyes are symptoms common to all forms of conjunctivitis. Itching is variable. Conjunctivitis is usually acute allergic itching, sometimes painfully so, and the patient often complains of some lid swelling. Chronic allergy often causes just itch or irritation, and often much frustration because the absence of redness or discharge can lead to accusations of hypochondria.

Home remedies and tips Pink Eye Treatment

1.You can make herbal eye drops using 1 tsp dried eyebright herb steeped in 1 liter of boiling water. Cool and strain of this liquid and use it as eyewash.

2.Avoid swim in chlorinated water.

3.You can make by using hot compresses of chamomile, lavender or oil rose for conjunctivitis.

4.Soak aloe vera juice on a cloth placed over the eyes to calm them. Aloe vera juice can be used as eyewash by following a similar procedure.

5.To reduce inflammation and itching can keep cold bread over your eyes.

6.Make tea and elderflower use it as eyewash, to soothe the eyes.

7.Use artificial tears to moisten the eyes to remove the foreign body.

8.You can put honey directly into the eyes or make honey eyewash by using three tablespoons of honey in two cups of boiling water.

9.Pink (eye conjunctivitis) fill a jar glass with distilled water and 7.8 in addition jasmine flowers. Cover with a lid and leave overnight. Next morning pour a few drops of water in their eyes with the jasmine flower. Keep repeating until your eyes are soaked. Do this at least three times a day to tell the difference.

10. Do not touch your eyes when in the garden or kitchen.

11. You must protect your eyes from air pollution and dust.

12. You should wear sunglasses before going out.

13. Take a cup of water. 2.3 Dissolve alum granules in it. Wear as an eyewash.

14.Slit long aloe leaf and place the pulpy side on the sore eye.
