As the current owner of Taylor Made R7 Quad is difficult to imagine that the new TaylorMade R7 Quad 425 could be much better than the original. We did some research and was TaylorMade pleasantly surprised that he was able to get more of the new R7 Quad 425. While this is not a good TaylorMade R7 425 review, provides some details on why the New works best.
Here's the little details between the R7 Quad 425 vs R7 Quad: – span 17% more movable weight increase of 7% in MOI – 45% larger horizontal CG movement – 30% wider range of lateral shot adjustment – 13% increase in the rate adjustment backspin – 9.3% trace address more – 25% walls thinner clubhead / 40% thinner than the cast metalwood average – 33% lower CG location relative to the center of the clubface
The above means that the driver Taylor Made R7 425 promotes a wider change in the way of shooting and trajectory, is more lenient, and visually encourages increased confidence.
Comparing the two I found the new designed to offer more of a draw when the cartridges are positioned for a draw. The R7 Quad 425 also produces a higher launch angle to promote a higher flight when the cartridges are positioned for a high-neutral trajectory.
Another big difference between the R7 Quad 425 and the original is the center of gravity relative to the location of the center of the clubface. The new 425 has a position of the CG of 3.3 mm below the center of the face compared to 2.5 mm for the original, which gives more R7 425 clubface area of four above the CG. This in turn activates the vertical gear effect, that occurs when the new R7 425 also incorporates the third generation of TaylorMade Inverted Cone Technology (ICT). It also has new TaylorMade RE * AX shaft technology This prevents ovaling. Ovaling causes the axis to the load and energy release inconsistently, which is given to the clubface and the ball then. The R7 Quad 425 is a club impressive, it also comes in a TP model being used by many professionals. If you're in the market for a new driver I recommend looking into TaylorMade line of drivers.
