In a popular New York Times Magazine this year, Adam Sternbergh makes the statement that "You Walk Wrong "is a fascinating article that I recommend. Sternbergh explains and sheds light on the biomechanical problems that Aline is very interested.
But there is a problem … Mr. Sternbergh, like many well-meaning defenders of bare feet, the Sasquatch is not seen 500 pounds in the room its name is the pavement.
Feet have been evolving for 4-5 million years and are marvels of engineering biomechanics. They are well adapted to move through the ground variable natural that human beings are at the 99.9999% of its evolution.
Start hitting the same feet of hard, marble floor of asphalt (or, tiles, concrete, wood, whatever), and decompose rapidly. Most of the shoes only exacerbate the problem, for the reasons given by Sternbergh.
