Ah "How Sweet It Is" Jackie Gleason, as she called it in "comedy" Just Married comedy the 1960s.

Any day Michigan, who loses a football game and Michigan State wins a football game is a great day. When Michigan State beat Michigan (as happened today, Saturday, 10-25-08) is a glorious day.

That would be by Michigan State had not beaten Michigan in the Big House in Ann Arbor since 1990, 18 years ago. The Spartans finished 8-3-1 that year, became the Big Ten Co-Champions at 6-2 and beat Southern California 17-16 in the John Hancock Bowl. The coach was George Perles.

The Michigan State's last victory in Michigan was a 26-24 home win in 2001.

The Spartans huge victory Saturday pushed his record to 7-2 for just the 3rd time in 40 years. First-year coach Rico Rodriguez and his Wolverines are having his worst season since 1962, when Michigan finished 2-7 and tied the school record for losses. The Wolverines have now lost 4 games at home this season first time in 4 decades and 4-row overall for the first time in 41 years

Michigan, which has the winningest program in college football, now to win their final 4 games? three of which are on the road, including one in Ohio? only to be eligible to play in a 34th straight bowl game.

The Michigan State victory was even sweeter because a blown call by a replay official gave Michigan a touchdown in the first quarter to tie the game at 7. Did not the Spartans eventually won, the Wolverines would have benefited from not scored a touchdown when 19 yards by Brandon Minor of the end zone was declared off limits.

A top official playing in the stands, overturned a correct decision in the field, giving under a TD because his foot hit a pylon on his way out of bounds. The book The NCAA rule that "a player or a player in the air that touches a tower is out of bounds ".

The replay official blew the call clearly, that was so evident, so stupid and so unnecessary, it makes you wonder if the officer in question is playing at the University of Michigan graduate.

The game was tied at 21 when the quarter ended 3rd. Javon of Michigan State Ringer scored his second TD in 3-yards midway through the 4th quarter and Brian Hoyer 3rd touchdown pass that the Spartans beat the Wolverines 14-mpg in the fourth quarter, lifting Michigan State to a 35-21 victory over the once-mighty Michigan Wolverines.

Ringer, Michigan State Candidates Heisman, picked up 194 yards and 2 touchdowns on 37 carries (5.2 yards per carry). Hoyer was 17-of-29 for 282 yards and a season-high 3 TD passes, one from 61 yards – Blair White. White finished with 4 receptions for 143 yards, an outstanding game for the walk-on junior receiver.

The Spartans won Michigan 473-252, their total more high in a victory at Michigan Stadium in a half century and its biggest victory in the rivalry, as it beat Michigan 34-0 in the Big House in 1967.

Michigan State Michigan also ran in Saturday's victory, 167-84, a fact which is significant because the team that has rushed for the most yards has won 35 of the last 38 matches in their rivalry.

The Spartans host Wisconsin following a 4.4 team that beat Illinois 27-17 Saturday. If Michigan State defeated Purdue, Wisconsin and at home, the Spartans would be 9.2 when they travel to Penn State for their final regular season game.

After the victory Saturday on the Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio and his Spartans deserve the glory at least 15 minutes before turning their attention unpleasant to the Wisconsin Badgers, who arrives at Spartan Stadium too soon.

Spray the bag with a hose or wipe with a damp cloth to get wet. Then, using a towel or cloth aggressively clean of the bag. Take your time and get rid of any pocket of dirt that can accumulate in any nooks and crannies. Be extra careful in areas covered or embroidered velvet.

Once your golf staff bag is cleaned to your satisfaction, prepare it for drying. This is also a great time to literally get it back fit. Fill the pockets and storage areas for your golf bag with the staff of regular paper towels. Do not overfill and make sure you close all zippers and snap closures. Let dry for twenty-four hours, indoors or in a shady area to prevent discoloration. You can also use leather cleaners or vinyl, but good old soap and water works well.

The next day, remove the towels and presto, its almost like brand new.

If you can handle the weight and do not forget you need a little love and food, golf bag, the staff can be your best friend on the golf course.
