The Nature of Rare Collectibles.
As its name suggests, all rare collectibles are scarce, hard to find. They can be antiques that are desirable due to their age, type of craftsmanship or some other unique feature that represents the past. Some Rare Collectibles are so old they are regarded as antiques – Artifacts of an ancient civilization such as ancient Chinese society, or ancient Greek. Alternatively, Rare Collectibles can be of very recent origin, sometimes being only few years.
The common denominator of all Rare Collectibles, regardless of type or age, is rare. Often, due to its scarcity and resource appeal, Rare Collectibles are also valuable. But if they are valuable or low-cost parts, Rare Collectibles are always important in a collection.

The definition of "rare" or "rarity" changes with the type of object, and therefore, the definition of "Rare Collectibles" is somewhat imprecise – there is a strict line of demarcation between what is "weird" and what is not "weird." In some cases, an element is considered a collectible rare, because only one or two examples of that object are known to exist worldwide. In other cases, hundreds or even thousands of particular object may have survived to the present, but because their existence has not been discovered yet (as a very old porcelain dolls that are kept in a trunk that is buried in an attic) or which are fragile and easily damaged (such as pottery, a postage stamp or early 200-year old piece of paper ephemera) are considered examples of high quality to be low.
Almost any object can become a Rare Collectible, if scarce enough.
Thousands of different Rare Collectibles types exist around the world. Certain coins and stamps, books and manuscripts, pottery, weapons and other military items, antique tools, works of original art, antique furniture, and paper ephemera collection may be rare. "Ephemeral paper" is written or printed material that has survived to date despite the fact that the pieces were originally disposable items, to be quickly discarded or destroyed. Examples of the transient than may include some rare collectible postcards, posters, business cards, brochures, exhibitions and advertising brochures, all quite common in the time, but mostly pulled away almost immediately. Some autographs, memorabilia and collectibles are also traveling Rare Collectibles.
Rare Collectibles can be anywhere in the world and in any culture. Rare Oriental collectables are small objects such as pottery and Chinese Dynastic temple objects, and large items, such as traditional clothing or armor of the Japanese feudal era. European Rare Collectibles are equally varied, ranging from the Greek statuary up beautifully illuminated (illustrated) that have charted the cartographers of the initial phase of the age of exploration in the 16th century. Collectors' items rare in the Americas, including some pieces of Native Americans (Indians) of pottery, blankets, or beads, original historical documents and colonial times the Revolution, and the Inca, Aztec, Mayan or amulets, pottery and carvings.
Why Collect Rare Collectibles?
Many people look for items collectible rare because of their inherent value. For these people, Rare Collectibles are a form of investment. But the main motivation for many collectors is the "emotion hunting "- that sense of satisfaction that comes when a very hard to find piece was tracked down and finally found somewhere in the world.
